Overview
Aquanautica Ecuador is an Ecuadorian-based company, run by a Colombian and Aussie, that provides specialized water sport education services, focusing mainly on kiteboarding and surf instruction. Aquanautica works closely with both local and international tourists and riders - it is their passion to promote and teach kiteboarding. Aquanautica enjoys sharing their knowledge about Ecuadorian Coast and culture with visitors, and most of all showing the excellent conditions that they have to practice water sports such as surfing and kiteboarding. Instructors are bilingual professionals with international certification (IKO). Aquanautica’s school is located on Santa Marianita beach, which is a 15-minute drive from the city of Manta (Manabí).
Aquanautica has excellent Side Shore wind conditions, a long 4km stretch of beach, average water temperature of 22 degrees, and Sunny weather year round. The wind season is from May through to early January with wind average of 16- 22 knots. Best time to practice: 11:00am until 5:00pm.
Mission
In addition to providing educational services, Aquanautica strives to produce high-level athletes for the future to represent the country in international events. They are empowering low-income children to become professionals in the teaching of water sports and/or future competitors at a high level. At present, Aquanautica hosts an International Kiteboarding Championship that attracts a number of competitors from around the globe. This creates an opportunity to display the magnificent beaches in the province of Manabí and also, showcasing its excellent conditions with world-class riders.

Increase and develop the depth of professional and high performance competitors who represent the country. Continue hosting world-class events and also to have their riders to join the global circuit of Professional Kiteboarding Riders Association (PKRA). Aquanautica is committed to being the best company dedicated to teaching Kiteboarding in Ecuador and South America.

Reservation Policy
Reservation can be made with a 50% deposit of the trip total. Trip must be paid in full three weeks before the trip commencement date.
Cancellation Policy
There are 10% cancellation fees; if notified more than a month in advance, Aquanautica will refund the rest of your trip. Any cancellations made three weeks before will incur a 15% fee however. Aquanautica Ecuador does not extend refunds for unused days or services. This includes, but is not limited to flight delays, late arrivals, premature departures, or for non-use of, meals or activities. Aquanautica is happy to reschedule your booking if given a three-week notice.
